Amanda Johnson

BCBA

Amanda is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of experience working with neurodivergent individuals and their families across school, home, and community settings. She began her career as a Special Education teacher serving students with autism, spending 6 years in the classroom before transitioning into the role of a school-based BCBA and eventually into home-based services. This blended experience gives her a unique perspective as she understands what it takes to make educational recommendations truly functional in everyday life.

At Supportive Care ABA, Amanda provides clinical guidance, collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, coaches families, and supports technicians to ensure treatment is ethical, practical, and deeply individualized. She is passionate about empowering others, advocating for meaningful systems change, and helping individuals build skills that genuinely improve quality of life.

Outside of work, Amanda still tries to keep up with the game she’s loved all her life, from playing in college to now coaching high school girls and supporting the women’s sports community. She also enjoys exploring new places and cultures with her family and spoiling her furbaby.
